New print format for E-Books from Diggin Deep Sports

Just to give everyone an update, I am still working out details regarding printing and shipping of physical items.  In the meantime, I went back to the drawing board to work on streamlining my card making process.  Now that I am longer associated with GEN1400 games, I am not bound by the printing formats that GEN1400 required.

I have always envisioned Diggin Deep player cards to be similar in make and size to collector sports cards.  I have been able to re-arrange the player cards on a page.  Previously, Diggin Deep player cards were eight to a page (4x2).  This format met the requirements needed to be printed and cut by GEN1400 games.  However, for E-Books, this left large margin above and below.  I have now re-formatted the cards to fit nine to a page (3x3).  Not only was I able to add an extra card to a page, but I was able to increase the size of the card by about 15%.  Larger cards that now require less pages of output.  This should come as a relief to my E-Book customers as less card stock will be needed now to print my games.

I have also increased the output for my quick play games (Fifteen Minute Baseball / Glory on the Pitch / Lightin the Lamp) from 16 cards a page to 18 cards a page.  This also reduces the output for E-Books

The first season to utilize this new format will be the 2013-14 Euro Leagues for Glory on the Pitch and Lightin the Lamp.  I will announcing the release of these leagues later tonight.  As time allows, I will look to re-release older sets from the Diggin Deep library in this new format.  Look for posts here when older sets are re-released.

As always, if you have questions, feel free to E-Mail me at rlennon@diggindeepsports.com.  Thanks!
